The Sheppey Arts Society |
Island Artists are proud to support the Sheppey Arts Society - Bobbin has been a member for many years and Ratman has just joined up.
The Sheppey Arts Society is a small group of artists of all abilities and interests who meet once a month to share experiences, to paint, to discuss painting and to encourage the 'newbie' to give art a go. This is not a society that judges you or your paintings but a group that will help artists and will accept help from artists..
All artists are different - some are downright peculiar - some are famous - others are off the wal - but they all have that one thing that identifies them - a desire to draw and paint.
Sheppey Art Society understands that many artists are amatuers, hobbyists, part timers and often shy of showing their talents - as a result the Society makes all artists welcome (someone even makes a cup of tea or coffee for a small donation) and would love to make you welcome if you are an artist.
The Society meets at St Peter's Church Hall on the Queenborough Road at Halfway on the First Thursday of each month. They also have a Christmas party.
